Tradition has it that at the CoCo end of semester party/exhibition we have two ice cream cakes from Ben and Jerry's

Mon/Wed group choose 2 flavors for one cake

Thur/Fri group choose 2 flavors for other cake
(yours will be the allergy sensitive cake - no brownie between flavors so it will be gluten/wheat free and also no nuts!)

Subway!

Hi guys,

Our friend Renee from group 1! is doing her photo project on the subway. She will be comparing old photographs of the 5 train to the route she takes every day. I happen to be a train geek so I was able to suggest that she visit nycsubway.org to find the old images. Even if this is not what you will be doing your projects on, this is an awesome site to learn the history about your train and your stop. If your ever want to talk trains, come see me!

José Clemente Orozco

Just wanted to share some links with you about one of the muralist whose work we saw at the MOMA last Monday. A couple of you, expressed interest in his work:

Water Memory Fade

This photo is taken by me, Sonia R. This picture was taken in Washington Sq. Park, New York City. The snow was melting away and there was some water on the ground. I liked the color of the building and how the water was reflecting trees, so I moved around to capture the reflection of the building in the water.

This photo looks like a fading memory. . . . .

how jpeg's killed the dinosaurs

Hi guys, I found this video showing what happens when you are editing jpeg files. The file is being saved and re-saved and in the process, being digitally compressed and re-compressed.

Generation Loss from hadto on Vimeo.

I know, this is gross. So please, for the love of humanity, jpeg if you must, but be an informed saver.
